As much as we try to watch online auctions across the country, the sale of this painting by Frank Ashford totally alluded us. We have saved Google searches established to find paintings by Frank Clifford Ashford, but Google never found this one. Unfortunately, this painting sold for only $260 at auction in North Carolina. We reached out to Proctor Auctions in New Bern, NC to see if they would contact the buyer so we could obtain more details about this painting by Ashford. As is, we know nothing about it, other than the size, which is 33 x 29 inches. Presumably oil on canvas. It is signed “Ashford”.
